Abstract

The hydraulic fluid enters the pressure reducing valve through an opening (4) in the housing (2) and flows into the ring shaped space (6) between the housing and a hollow bush (1). The bush has radial perforations (7) which are linked by a ring shaped groove (8). A hollow cylindrical plunger (9) slides axially inside the bush. The plunger has radial perforations (10) and an internal dividing wall (11) with two, excentric throttle holes (12, 13). A coil spring (18) presses the plunger downwards. The valve of the plunger having throttle hole (13), with both holes being located on the same half of the plunger. As a result there is little change of fluid flow through the control valve (17) during operation.
