Abstract

Torsion damping device, especially in an inertia flywheel also forming the reaction plate of a clutch. The damping device which comprises two coaxial parts 15, 16 capable of limited rotation with respect to each other, against the force exerted by springs 18 mounted between articulated baseplates 24, is provided with elements 68, 75, made for a damping material and interposed in the vicinity of the engagement means between the said baseplates and each of the two coaxial parts. The elements made from a damping material may be fixed onto one and/or other of the said coaxial parts and/or onto the said baseplates.
