Abstract

The process according to the main patent application consists in filling a mould 9 with thermoplastic materials, the walls 5 of the mould cavity 7 of which will be at a temperature which will lie within the working temperature range of the material. Next, as soon as the mould cavity 7 is uniformly filled, it is necessary, at various locations determined according to a thickness/surface area ratio of the mould cavity 7, to apply a compacting and a holding pressure which begins with the cooling of the walls 5 of the mould 9 and which, in the optimum case, will be the application of a pressure-volume-temperature diagram. According to the invention, the front portion of the filling devices are equipped with a closure system. The materials which constitute the mould are thermal conductors. The zones for surface/mould contact with the pressure-holding devices are temperature regulated independently of the surfaces of the mould cavity. After demoulding, the product obtained therefore has the same technical characteristics as a small-sized component of the same material obtained by conventional injection. Dispensing with injection pressures leads to dispensing with the locking mechanism conventionally used. The use of the process therefore enables thermoplastic components to be designed which were hitherto unrealisable. The process may also be used in the case of certain themosetting materials which are converted in the same manner as thermoplastic materials.

Les parois de l'empreinte avant le gavage sont à une température comprise dans la fourchette de température de travail de la matière et que le compactage et le maintien en pression sont l'application d'un diagramme pression/volume/température.  1.
