Abstract

Road signalling system which, by means of emitters of infrared rays placed along the road and the receiver with which the vehicle is equipped, triggers audio-visual signals inside the vehicle. The receiver, linked to a transmitter of infrared rays, automatically transmits to the vehicle according to the road information received, as well as that inserted by the driver of this vehicle. The system also allows automatic reduction of the speed of the vehicle according to the road indications. This system is designed to allow the driver of the vehicle to receive the road information in advance, in no matter what visibility conditions, and to be able thus to react before being involved in a possible traffic accident.
