Abstract

The pivoting decorative armouring for the frame and the landing door permits protection of doors by means of a removable decorative armouring and fastening to the frame by means of a pivoting bar mounted beforehand, resulting in an easy implementation and a finish which does not require subsequent work. It consists of: A) a decorative armouring as a covering for the edge of the door B) adjustment wedges for the removable hinge plates C) hinge plates with removable pegs D) washers with rotating balls E) hinge plate pegs F) a pivoting bar with anti-unhinging elements G) a door stiffener making it possible to fasten the armouring and the hinge plates.

Description

DECOR SWIVELING FOR THE PROTECTION OF LANDING DOORS
To date, any landing door shielding system has the following drawbacks: alteration of the carpentry support - machining and implementation no longer allowing disassembly: this fact penalizes the possibility of calling into question the closing systems (locksmithing) existing or simply planing at the periphery of a door (laying of floor covering). If semi-finished products are used (electro-galvanized shielding, black sheet metal passed with anti-rust), it is compulsory to invest in coating finish (wood veneer, laminate, carpet, paint, quilt).

The use of finished products is difficult and difficult to transport due to complicated processing due to the weight of the shielding and the fragility of the coating. DESCRIPTION: it consists of a decorative shield (A) covering, a stiffener (G) fixed to the door (H) receiving the hinge fasteners (C) - a callage system (B) of the latter allows all adjustments of the offset caused by the installation on different frames and all landing doors. A sufficient quantity of hinges (C) and their fudicial location (figure 1/8) allow this shielding to be held effectively. An anti-heaving system by pressed scales on the swivel bar (F) reinforces the resistance to external pressures. Pan its fixing and a plug blocking system (E) this shield cannot be removed with the door closed. The fact that it is removable allows a choice of various finishes and also a questioning of the locksmith.

Planing at the periphery becomes possible in the event of a shortening of a door (floor covering). TECHNICAL DESCRIPTION
A decorative shield (A) (imitation wood, imitation leather, lacquered) of a development of 1000 wide x 2300 long, has a front face of 914mm - 3 plies of 25.5 + 25.5 + 60.5 all, allowing to cover the pivoting stiffener (G).
