Abstract

The present invention relates to a device permitting adjustment of the size of the bottom band of a bra to that of the wearer's thorax and closure of the said bra. The device according to the invention makes it possible to dispense with pre-set structures and it offers the possibility of precise measurement matching for each wearer. According to the invention, the rear part of the bra, the part located between the shoulder straps, consists of two strips 5 of elastic material. They are long enough to ensure, by means of their superposition, adjustment to the maximum and minimum measurements of the thorax corresponding to a given cup size. They are wide enough to ensure comfort in wear. According to the invention, they receive a novel closure system composed of a hook 1, of a displaceable flap 2 and of a slide 3.
