Abstract

The invention relates to a device making it possible to eat the egg in its lying position, thus making it easier to eat. It consists of a single-part egg-cup, which can be made in two sizes, including a double model. This transverse-type egg-cup has a (half-ovum) cup which can rest on a hollow base, with an orifice, or else be fitted into it permanently. This base could be of a slightly oblique shape, even of a cylindrical shape or the like and acts as a support, of low height, which cannot be knocked over. The dimensions of the base are matched to size-graded eggs (medium size). This device according to the invention could be applied to various more or less imaginative models. The double, single-part model has two cups, which are superimposed, inverted, of different sizes, making it possible to receive eggs of different sizes. These models could be made in various materials, more usually in plastic. To be added (optionally) is a part made from a solid material, in the form of a portion of a sphere, with, at its apex, an opening determined by applying the latter over the apex of the egg, making it easier to determine the size of the surface area of the egg to be removed, by specifying the entrance.
