Abstract

The invention relates to the technique of explosive machining. The device according to the invention is characterised in that the body 8 of the sealing (closing) member 7 is mechanically connected to the immobile part 3 of the enclosure of the explosion chamber 1 and that the gate (valve) 10 mounted so as to move in the body 8 of the sealing (closing) member 7 is mechanically connected to the movable part 2 of the enclosure of the explosion chamber 1 so that closure of the ventilation pipe is performed at the instant the moveable part 2 and the immovable part 3 of the enclosure of the explosion chamber 1 are joined together. The device in question can be used especially for the explosive welding of materials, for shock-wave hardening of materials and for pressing powdery materials.
