Abstract

The invention discloses a method of distribution and billing when various articles are purchased in distribution businesses. It concerns the relationship between computer b, stock c, dispenser a set in motion by a "chip" card inserted into a reader 1. The data typed in on a keyboard 2 are transmitted to the computer 3, which stores the code number in memory, calculates the purchase total and compares it with the provision: if the provision is sufficient the computer pays itself 4 and gives the delivery order 5 via the aperture 6. If the provision is insufficient a dial 8 so indicates, the client may take back his/her card on the order from the computer 7 or vary the quantity. At the end-of-purchase data item, the computer delivers the billing ticket 9, 10. The computer controls the distribution 11, and restocking 12 of the dispenser 13. The method according to the invention is intended for supermarkets.
