Abstract

1. This claim relates to a set of sectional lengths and auxiliary parts in which the main sectional length, obtained by pressed drawing of light alloy bars, is assembled by pieces to form structures with different vocations, cooperating with the auxiliary parts, said main sectional length having a straight section and falling approximately within a square and including on two of its outer faces (1, 2), longitudinal slots (3, 4) of the same length, designed to receive cross-members for the construction of furniture ; outer faces (1, 2) perpendicular to one another, are arranged either side of an axis of symmetry XX' located on the diagonal of the section and only taking up one part of the length of the side of said section and cooperating with one another to form a third outer face (5) on a 45 degrees bias with respect to the outer faces (1, 2) perpendicular to one another, said biased face incorporating a slot (6) located at the middle of the biased face and identical to the longitudinal slots (3, 4) on the outer faces (1, 2), perpendicular to one another and partially open while the heart (11) of said sectional length is arranged in parallel to the three outer faces (1, 2, 5) at a sufficient distance to engage attaching means within each of the recesses (8, 9, 10) defined between the outer faces (1, 2, 5) and the heart (11) which extends through the outer face portion (12, 13) perpendicular to said heart and to outer faces (1, 2), which are neighboring and perpendicular to one another while said sectional length includes an open honeycomb (15) integral with heart (11) which main sectional length cooperates with an angle closing sectional length (PF) which can be clipped onto the edges of the face portions (12, 13) and blows the open angle (7) in the extension of said face portions (12, 13), remarkable in that the angle (7) of said square, opposite the biased face (5) is edged by open outer faces (12, 13) perpendicular to one another and to the neighboring outer faces (1, 2) and in that the open honeycomb (15) is arranged on the axis of symmetry XX' in that said main sectional length cooperates with an angle closing sectional length (PF) which can be clipped onto the edge of the open outer faces (12, 13) and closes the open angle (7) of said square, opposite the biased face (5) in an extension of said outer open faces (12, 13) in that a trim sectional length (PH1) of a handsome wood species, is assembled by sliding onto the open outer faces (12, 13) to form the sides of an angle opening (7) of said square and in that said crosspieces (2), (T1, T2) are attached to the main sectional length, receiving a trim sectional length of wood (PH2, PH3) cooperating with the trim sectional length (PH1) of said main sectional length, also of wood.

  Set of profiles and associated parts, for the production of furniture.

  The invention relates to a set of profiles and associated parts in which the profiles, of open section, are made of light alloy bars obtained by press spinning, joining together in pieces to form the framework of furniture with various vocations.

  For the realization of such structures, we already know many

  types of profiles. To assemble these profiles, it is necessary to use

  se of the annexed assembly parts which are slid into the longitudinal slots, brackets or blocks previously drilled and tapped and

  cooperating to secure the profile pieces.

  These assemblies require special preparation and are not

  convenient to use nor very aesthetic.

  The present invention aims to overcome these drawbacks. It solves the problem of assembling pieces of sections without using intermediate means, blocks or brackets, and without cuts

  The advantages obtained thanks to the profiles according to the invention are the following: - great simplicity of implementation, extremely reduced preparation; - no intermediate assembly parts or miter cuts; very easy and very precise positioning of the profile pieces; - very nice finish and new aesthetics thanks to the use of thin wooden cladding profiles which are mounted in the slides of the main and annexed profiles; very great versatility of all the profiles for the production of very diverse furniture, for domestic use, of arrangement of

stores and offices.

  The main profile shown in cross section in fig.1 is made

  by light alloy press spinning; it is assembled in pieces.

  Its cross section is substantially in a square and has on two of its outer faces 1,2, longitudinal slots 3,4 of the same width to receive sleepers. It has an axis of symmetry XX 'arranged along the diagonal of said section between the external faces 3 - 1,2 perpendicular to each other. The faces 1,2 only occupy part of the length of the side of the section and cooperate with each other to form a third bearing face 5 making an angle at 45 with said faces

  1,2 and also comprising a slot 6 identical to the slots 3,4 and dis-

  placed in the middle of said bearing face. The angle 7 opposite to the bias face is completely open, the core 11 of the profile is disposed parallel to the support faces 1,2 and to the bias face 5 at a sufficient distance to engage fixing means to the interior of the housings 8, 9, 10 thus defined between the external faces 1,2,5 and said core 11 which is extended by portions of external faces 12,13 perpendicular to the core 11 and to the bearing faces 1,2 . The faces 1,2 are provided to receive crosspieces T1, T2 fixed at the end on said face as shown in fig.12,13. An open cell 15 is integral with the core 11 on the axis of symmetry XX 'FIG. 2 shows an example of a PH1 cladding profile made of wood.   In fig.3 there is shown an example of cross-member T1 with its profile

  PH2 cover. The T1 high crosspiece is assembled at the end, perpendicular-

It has an open rectangular section, the long side 30 of which forms the core, while the large opposite side 31 is opened by a longitudinal slot 32, as do the two short sides (33,34), the same length as the faces 1 , 2 of the main section, which also have a longitudinal slot 35, 36 of the same width as the slots 3,4 of the main section. The core 30 has two perpendicular wings 37,38 defining identical housings 39,40 on the short sides and maintaining the portions of opposite faces 41,42 defining the second long side. The opposite sides of the wings 37, 38 of the core 30 each have an open cell 43, 44 for fixing to the main section. The covering profile PH2 of the cross member T1 has a H-shaped cross section, one of the branches 45 of which is shortened on each side to allow it to slide.

  put an intermediate panel 106 which is also a window; we added

Claims (5)

CLAIMS:   7 - Set of profiles and associated parts in which the main profile   pal, produced by press spinning in light alloy bars, is assembled in pieces to form structures with various vocations cooperating with annexed parts, characterized in that it has a cross section inscribing itself substantially in a square and comprises, on two of its external faces (1,2) longitudinal slots (3,4) of the same width for receiving crosspieces constituting furniture, and in that the faces (1,2) perpendicular to each other are arranged on either side of an axis of symmetry XX 'situated on the diagonal of said section, and in that the faces (1,2) occupy only part of the length of the side of the section and cooperate between them to form a third bias support face (5) forming an angle of 45 with the faces (1,2) and comprising a   slot (6) identical to the slots (3,4) and disposed in the middle of the bi-face   se, the angle (7) opposite the bias face is completely open, the core (11) of said profile being disposed parallel to the bearing faces (1,2) and to the bias face (5) at a sufficient distance for engaging fixing means inside each of the housings (8, 9, 10) defined between the external faces (1,2,5) and the core (11) which is extended by portions of external faces ( 12,13) perpendicular to said core and parallel to the bearing faces 1,2) and in that the bearing faces (1,2) are provided to receive profiles (T1, T2) fixed at the end on said face by means of screws engaged in holes drilled in said core (11) and screwed into open cells (43, 44) of said additional sections, directly or by means of a dowel, and in that an open cell ( 15) is arranged on the axis of symmetry XX ′ secured to the core (11), and in that said main profile cooperates with a clip-on closure profile (PF) closing the open angle (7), and in that a wooden covering profile (PH1) is assembled by sliding on the sides of the opening (7), and in that the crosspieces (T1, T2) receive a covering profile (PH2, PH3) cooperating with the covering profile (PH1) of the main profile.   - 8 - 2 - Set of profiles according to claim l, characterized in that the high crosspiece (Tl) joining at the end, perpendicularly on   one of the faces (1,2) of the main profile has a sensitive section -   rectangular, one of the long sides (30) of which forms the core, while the opposite long side (31) is opened by a longitudinal slit (32) and the two short sides (33,34) of the same length as the faces   (1,2) of the main profile, which also have a longitudi-   nale (35,36) of the same width as those (1,2) of the main profile, the core (30) comprises two perpendicular wings (37,38) defining identical housings (39,40) on the short sides and now the portions of opposite faces (41, 42) defining the second long side, the opposite sides of the wings (37, 38) of the core (30) each have an open cell   (43,44) for fixing on the main profile.   3 - set of profiles according to claims 1 and 2, characterized in   that the lower crosspiece (T2) joining at the end perpendicularly to one of the faces (1,2) of the main profile is like the upper crosspiece (T1), but is very much lower and has only one single housing (39), the outer face (50) of the short side opposite to the housing (39) is constituted by the second wing (50) of the core (51), the two wings (37.50) also have cells open (43.44) opposite.   4 - set of profiles according to claim 1, characterized in that, the closure profile (PF) of the main profile has a cross section in the form of an angle whose ends each have a clipping means cooperating with the ends opposite the faces (12,13) of the main profile.   - Set of profiles according to claim 1, characterized in that the wooden cladding profile (PH1) of the main profile, has a cross section in the form of an angle whose wings (20,21) are the same width as the side of the cross section of the main profile and the internal part of the angle of which extends so as to allow milling (22,23) to receive the sides (12,13) of the main profile   on which it is slid longitudinally.   6 -
