Abstract

The invention relates to the fastening of a metal plate to a web. A device is used which comprises a claw plate 2, a counterplate 4 and an intermediate plate 3. The claw plate is applied against the web and the intermediate plate and the counterplate are arranged on the other side of the web. The claws 2a pass through the web and the intermediate plate and are received in the counterplate. The claw plate and the counterplate are metal whilst the intermediate plate is made from plastic or another material to prevent the two metal plates from making a punch.
