PAID GARAGE FOR VEHICLES AND PARKING PARK
INCLUDING SUCH GARAGES.

 The invention relates to a new type of paid garage for vehicles, in particular for motor vehicles. It also relates to a parking lot comprising such paid garages. As we know, unfortunately, there is an increasing number of vehicle thefts or break-ins in vehicle parking lots, especially since most of the time, these fleets are not monitored by effectively.

 It has already been suggested to equip part of these parks with garages in individual closed boxes in which the user could temporarily store his vehicle. This solution has hardly been developed because it proves to be inconvenient, both for the user who must then keep a key with him and especially for the park manager who has poor control over the occupancy of his park, except considerably increasing the intervention or management personnel.

 The invention overcomes these drawbacks. It targets a paid garage or fleet of vehicles that is safer for the user and easier to manage for the operator.

This paid fleet for vehicles, in particular for cars, consisting of an enclosure closed by means of a door, is characterized in that it includes means intended:
- on the one hand, to deduct the duration of the parking time and calculate the price of this parking;
- on the other hand, to verify that the corresponding payment has been made
- finally, to remotely control the opening of the closing door.

The invention relates, as already said, to a paid parking lot for vehicles comprising such garages for cars in particular. These parking lots, constituted by a plurality of elementary enclosures closed by a door comprising a closing member, are characterized in that each enclosure comprises a reader distributor intended for:
- when the user arrives, give him a title identifying clearly and in code the number of the enclosure as well as the exact time and date of arrival
- upon departure, to check on the validated ticket whether the payment corresponding to the duration of occupation has been made, then to trigger the opening of the door, all of said peripheral reader distributors being slaved to a central unit intended for moment of departure of the user when he hands over the initial title
- on the one hand, to deduct the duration of the parking time then to calculate the price of this parking and to display it in plain text on the ticket or on a table
- on the other hand, to validate the ticket when the corresponding payment has been made.

Advantageously, in practice
- the delivery of the ticket (ticket, card) is activated by closing the door
- the central unit also includes means connected to each enclosure intended: a to technically control the state of each
door, has to activate an alarm system in case of a-
nomalie of said means of control,
à to identify and report the unusual garages
weight.

 The manner in which the invention can be implemented and the advantages which ensue therefrom will emerge more clearly from the example of embodiment which follows, given by way of non-limiting example, in support of the single appended figure which briefly diagrams an installation in accordance with the invention.

 The parking area indicated by the general reference (1) consists of a plurality of elementary enclosures (2,3,4) arranged in series, closed by walls (5,6,7) and each closed by a door individual (8).

This door (8), for example tilting, is associated with a closing lock (9). Advantageously, the walls (2,3,4) are made with hard materials, with rapid assembly.

 Each closing door (8) has a series of dry contacts (10) for locking and unlocking the lock (9). These contacts (10) control a distributor dispenser (11) for a ticket or card with a conventional structure.

 This reader distributor (11) makes it possible, when the user's vehicle has been parked in the enclosure (2) and the door (8) has been closed manually, to deliver a ticket (12) such as a ticket or a card clearly and in code with the enclosure number (2) and the exact time and date of arrival. Simultaneously, at this delivery, the distributor (11) sends information to the central unit (23) identifying the number of the enclosure (2) which is now occupied and the exact time of closing of the door (8) .

 From this moment, the occupied enclosure (2) is under the supervision of the central unit (23).

 When the user wishes to take back his vehicle, he goes to the central unit indicated by the general reference (20) to which are connected, by cables (21), the peripheral individual reader distributors (11).

In fact, the user goes either to an appropriate centralizing body, or to a cash register where he gives his initial ticket (12). At this time, the central unit (20) which is coupled to a channel multiplexer (22) and which comprises memory disks (24) calculates the duration of occupation of the enclosure (2). This central unit (23) is constituted by an appropriate computer, intended moreover to ensure file management, to calculate the time as well as the price, to manage the receipts, to validate the titles (tickets, cards), to control the state of occupation of each elementary enclosure (2,3,4) as well as the state of each door (8) and if necessary, to give the alarm in the event of detection of anomalies.

 A link (25) connects the central unit (23) first to a keyboard console (26) which can allow the cashier to know at any time the exact number and location of the unoccupied speakers. When the time comes, a printer (27) will give the invoice corresponding to the time calculated by the central unit (23). Finally, a title distributor encoder device (28) will make it possible to validate the title (12) introduced into the central unit (23) when the sum corresponding to the duration of occupation which has either been printed in (27) or displayed in an appropriate place has been acquitted. Alternatively, this distributor encoder (28) may distribute an appropriate validated card. This distributor encoder (28) will print on the ticket (12) validation information intended to control the opening of the door (8).

 The user then retrieves his validated ticket (12) and then goes to the enclosure concerned (2). I1 then introduces the validated ticket (12) into the dispenser (11) which, thanks to its reader, reads the coded information printed by the encoder (28). If the reading is satisfactory, the distributor (11) then controls the opening of the closing member (9) of the door (8) which is thus released.

The user can then recover his vehicle.

Simultaneously, the distributor (11) sends information to the central unit (23) indicating that the location concerned (2) is now free.

 As already said, each location (2) also includes an alarm means, connected to the central unit (23) as well as possibly to the exit doors of the park, intended to transmit any anomaly, such as poorly closed door or door raped.

The device according to the invention has many advantages compared to those known to date. We can cite
- physical protection of vehicles
- the possibility for the user to choose his parking mode between the traditional parking lot and this improved park
- increased surveillance of guarded vehicles
- ease of assembly, operation and management
- in short, a significant improvement in security.

 In this way, it can be used advantageously in all car parks of all kinds and in any place.

 1 / Paid garage for vehicles, in particular for motor vehicles, consisting of an enclosure (2) closed by a door (8), characterized in that it comprises means (11,23) intended  - on the one hand, to deduct the duration of the parking time, then to calculate the price of this parking  - on the other hand, to then verify that the corresponding payment has been made  - finally, to remotely control the opening of the closing door (8).  Paid parking lot for vehicles, in particular for cars, consisting of a plurality of elementary enclosures (2,3,4), closed by a door (8), comprising a closing member (9), characterized in that each enclosure (2,3,4) comprises a distributor-reader (11) intended  - first of all, when the user arrives, give this user a title (12) identifying clearly and in code the number of the enclosure-concerned (2,3, 4), as well as the exact time and date of arrival  - then, when the user leaves, to check on the validated ticket (12) if the corresponding payment with the duration of occupation has been made, then to trigger the opening of the closing door (8), all of said peripheral reader distributors (11) being slaved to a central unit (23) intended, upon departure, for the delivery of the initial ticket (12) by the user  - first, to count the duration of the parking time, then to calculate the price of this parking and finally to display it in clear on the ticket or on a table  - then to validate the ticket (12) when the corresponding payment has been made.  3 / Parking lot according to claim 2, characterized in that upon arrival, the delivery of the ticket (12) is actuated by closing the door (8).  4 / Park according to one of claims 2 and 3, characterized in that the central unit (23) also comprises means connected to each enclosure (2,3,4) intended:  - to technically check the condition of each door (8)  - to activate the alarm system in the event of an anomaly in said control means  - to identify and report the empty enclosures (2,3,4).
