Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a device which makes it possible to grasp where to pick up a whole multitude of objects, without having to stoop down, this can bring some help to any person (in particular disabled).
The invention is in the form of a traditional walking stick made of light alloy provided at its lower end with an articulated retaining clip, making it possible to grasp the object according to the spacing thereof. The characteristics and advantages of the invention will appear from the following description in the appended drawings.
FIGURE 1
FIGURE 1
Rod body (1) in light alloy made in a single part in a round tube which has at the base of the stick a light to ensure the clearance of the lever (8). This lever (8) which is articulated on the return rod (2) and bears on the ring (9) which serves as its support. This support ring (9) is fixed to the rod body (1) to a self-tapping sheet metal screw (6) the return rod (2) is threaded and is screwed at its lower end on the transmission axis (13 ) this axis which slides freely inside the clamp body (12) has a groove where the heel of the clamps (3) is housed. The pivoting retaining clamps of a respective axis (17) integral with the clamp body ( 12) i4J cylindrical compression spring keeping the clamps (3) open, free washer (5), which transmits the spring force (4J to the axis (13J. Sheet metal bracket (11) fixed to the clamp body (12 ) using rivets, it carries a hole in its upper part where the return rod freely circulates (2) it keeps the spring (4) in compression on the axis (13). Sheet metal screw (6) fixing the connection of the support ring (9) with the rod body (1) decorative ring (7) metal or plastic end piece (10). Magnetic case (14) protecting the clamp (31.

To make the device operational, the user first removes the protective case (14) by simple pull, then he acts by tightening the lever (8) against the butt using his index and middle fingers, the lever (8) which bears on the ring (9) and multiplies the effort and transmits it by means of an articulated connection to the return rod (2) which itself acts on the transmission axis (131. The axis tel3) performing a translation from bottom to top thereby causing the heels of the clamps (3) which pivot around their axis (17). The lower end of the pliers (3J closes and grips the object, the user brings this object back to the level of his other hand, which remains free, he releases the lever (8) which returns to its initial position, as well as the pliers and the he object is released from its grip thanks to the force of the spring (4).
