Abstract

Improvement in the devices for fixing valves on a wall in which the fixing of the body 1 of the valve is effected by means of a ring 2, with anti-parallel bearing faces, arranged between said wall and said body, which can pivot around of the axis of the latter to occupy two stable positions. Description

The present invention relates to improvements

  fastening devices to faucets on a wall.

  When a valve is provided with a spout rigid with respect to the body, it is necessary to design bodies of different shapes depending on whether the valve must be fixed against a wall

  vertical or on a horizontal wall. This requirement includes

  disadvantages for the manufacturer, who must have two molds and for the user, who must specify the type

tap he wants.

  According to the invention, the fixing of the valve body against or on a wall is effected by means of a ring clamped between said wall and the lower end of said body, which can pivot along the axis of the latter and whose the extremities

are antiparallel.

  By judicious positioning of the ring, it is therefore possible to modify the inclination of the valve with respect to

its fixing wall.

  Referring to the drawing and according to a method of

  tion, we see that the problem to be solved is to fix the body 1 of a tap against a vertical wall P1 or

a horizontal wall P2.

  According to the invention, this result can be obtained

  The body 1 connects to an angled end piece 4 through

a shoulder nut 5.

  The water supply lines are connected to

  the tip 4 which has a head 6 on which one can engage

  1-Improvements to the fasteners of faucets on a wall, characterized in that the fixing of the body (1) of the valve is effected by means of a ring (2) with antiparallel bearing faces, arranged between said wall and said body being pivotable about the axis of this   last to occupy two stable positions.   2-Improvement to the fixing devices of the valves on a wall, according to claim 1, characterized in that the ring (2) is held against the wall by means of an end piece (4) bent, fixed to said wall and on which the body (1) is fixed by means of a nut (5), supported, maintained   trapped between said ring and a head (6) of said tip.   3-Improvement to the fixing devices of the valves on a wall, according to claim 2, characterized in that the face of the ring (2) located towards the body has a shoulder (9) passing through the nut (5) for fixing the body to take support under that (7) of the mouthpiece (4)   and whose height is greater than the thickness of the bottom said nut.
