Abstract

In a support for garments or washing (linen), a support rod 1 may be made up of several sections 4 which can be made integral with one another. Each section 4 of the said rod 1 essentially consists of a plastic tube. Pivoting arms 3 are placed on a spindle 12 made up of a plastic tube. The arms 3 are stopped in the axial direction towards the bottom by a collar 13 of the spindle 12 and in the axial direction towards the top by a tapped part 17.
