Description

SKI BOOT.

 The invention relates to an improved ski boot according to the main patent.

This plastic ski boot essentially comprises:
+ a shell intended to receive the foot,
+ at least one collar, intended to grip the leg, articulated on the shell,
+ means for tightening the shell and the collar on the foot and the leg, constituted by a buckle comprising
- a lever fixed to the shell or to the collar,
- an attachment member connected to the lever,
- a serrated attachment piece fixed on the
part of the shell or collar opposite
the one receiving the lever, intended to cooperate
rer with the latching member housed between
two parallel side walls from
molding, defining between them a chamber
open at the edge of the collar or shell and
whose height substantially coincides with
that of the serrated part, the end of
said chamber being extended on the top
by profiling progressively linked to
the front of the shell or collar.

 According to the addition, the fastening member is a loop-shaped ring and the serrated fastening piece is a molded piece of rigid plastic material inserted in the characteristic chamber of the main patent.

Advantageously, in practice
- the serrated part housed in the characteristic chamber has a narrower width than that of the chamber, so as to allow the ring to be hooked in the teeth
- the serrated part is riveted in the chamber thanks to a hole provided for this purpose
- As described in the main patent, the slot disposed at the closed end of the chamber extends over the entire width of this chamber and the end of the serrated part is inserted in this chamber to come to hang on that -this.

 The manner in which the invention can be implemented and the advantages which ensue therefrom will emerge more clearly from the embodiment which follows, given by way of indication but not limiting in support of the appended figures.

 Figure 1 is a summary side view of a ski boot according to the invention in which however the shell has not been shown so as not to unnecessarily overload the drawing.

 Figures 2 and 3 show sections of this embodiment respectively along the axis I-I 'in Figure 1 and II-II' in Figure 2.

 Referring to the figures, the shoe according to the invention essentially comprises a front collar (4) articulated at (5) on the shell not shown and a rear casing (6) articulated at (7) on this same shell and this, so as to form a deformable parallelogram around these two pivots (5,7).

 In the embodiment shown, the tightening means is constituted by a loop essentially comprising a lever (30) riveted by a base (31) to the collar (4). This lever (30) actuates a toggle joint (32) integral with a micrometric adjustment screw (33) which, by a part (34) actuates a closed ring (35) of steel wire. The streamlined chamber (23) characteristic of the main patent (see FIGS. 1 and 2) disposed on the collar (4) opposite the lever (30) comprises a serrated part (36) made of injected rigid plastic, the height of which also coincides with that of the chamber (23).

This part (36) which comprises hooking teeth (37) arranged in the opposite direction, is secured to the collar (4) by a clipping stud (38) which is engaged in the orifice (29). The end (39) of this serrated part (36) which is permanently engaged under the profiling (25) has the shape of a hook, which thus comes to bear on the slot (27) to ensure the tensile strength and tearing off this part (36).

 This arrangement allows the characteristic part (36) to be easily changed and facilitates the positioning of the ring (35) and more precisely of its end (40) on the teeth (37).

 The implementation of such a shoe is carried out in the same way as that described in the main patent.

 1 / Plastic ski boot according to the main patent, essentially comprising  - a shell intended to receive the foot  - at least one collar (4) intended to grip the leg, articulated on the shell  - Means (30,35) intended to tighten the shell and the collar (4) on the foot and the leg, constituted by a buckle comprising  a lever (30) fixed to the shell or to the collar  (4),  a hooking member (35) connected to the lever,  consisting of a ring (35) in the shape of a bou  key,  a serrated attachment piece attached to the  opposite part of the shell or collar (4)  to that receiving the lever (30), intended for  cooperate with the latching member (35), housed  between two parallel walls (21,22) coming from  molding, defining between them a chamber  open (23) at the edge of the collar (4) or the  shell and height H coincides sensitive  with that of the serrated part, the end  mity of said chamber (23) being extended  on the top by a profiling (25) connected pro  gressively at the front of the collar shell  (4), characterized in that the fastening member is a closed ring (35) in the form of a loop and in that the serrated fastening piece (36) is a molded piece (36) of rigid plastic material inserted in the room (23).  2 / shoe according to claim 1, characterized in that the serrated part (36) housed in the chamber (23) has a narrower width than that of the chamber (23) so as to allow the attachment of the ring ( 35) in the teeth (37).  3 / Shoe according to one of claims 1 and 2, characterized in that the serrated part (36) is riveted in the chamber (23) by means of a stud (38) engaged in an orifice (29) provided for this purpose in the room (23).  4 / Shoe according to one of claims 1 to 3, characterized in that the end (39) of the serrated part (36) is inserted in the slot (27) formed at the end of the chamber (23) and has a hook which comes to bear on this slot (27).
