Abstract

The present invention relates to connectors for electricity- conducting wires or cables permitting connections without stripping the wire or cable. It comprises a non-conducting block 1, one or more grooves 2 on at least two faces. A fine point 3, inside the grooves 2, provides the electrical connection between two opposing grooves and serves to impale the electrical wire or cable. The interior of each groove 2 may or may not be coated with an adhesive material 4 as well as with one or more asperities 5 in the form of flexible hooks pointed inwards. Among the most useful applications, mention may be made of the connection of two wires or cables without removing the protective sheath.
