Abstract

The apparatus comprises a fixed sonotrode and an anvil formed from a plurality of small anvils 24 mounted on springs 25 which push them towards the sonotrode. The small anvils 24 are virtually contiguous. The small anvils are balls 24 housed in cages 20 of a block 12. Each ball 24 is thrust by a spring 25 bearing at the bottom 23 of the cage and has its travel, towards the sonotrode, limited by a circular stop 17. In a variant, the contiguous balls circulate in a guide track.

Description

La présente invention concerne un appareil de soudage par ultrasons. L'appareil de soudage suivant l'invention est notamment utile dans une installation de remplissage de sacs où il permet d'effectuer la fermeture en continu des sacs en matière plastique en soudant leurs bords libres au moyen d'ultrasons
Dans une telle installation de remplissage, les sacs sont remplis sous une trémie, puis transportés accrochés sous un convoyeur vers un appareil de soudage qui en soudent les bords libres afin de fermer les sacs. Dans certains cas, le convoyeur arrête chaque sac à fermer devant l'appareil de soudage, mais ce processus ne permet d'atteindre que des cadences moyennes de production. On tend actuellement à prévoir des convoyeurs fonctionnant à vitesse constante, ce qui nécessite que l'appareil de soudage fonctionne en "continu".
