Abstract

The invention relates to a device making it possible to trigger a sound system using both a system for detection of change to the internal volume of the vehicle combining the ultrasound or infrared and UHF systems. It consists of two detection systems, one ultrasonic or infra-red and the other UHF, the two systems operating in totally different frequencies i.e. a few tens of kilohertz for the infrared or ultrasonic system and a few thousand megahertz for the UHF system. The two detection systems are coupled and only put the alarm system into operation as long as both of the two systems simultaneously receive the information. The device according to the invention is particularly intended for protection of any vehicle and more particularly automobiles.
