Abstract

The invention relates to a display system for fashion or leather articles, equipped with an anti-theft hanging device. A planar plate 1 with a hook 2 comprises two bores 4 and 6 which are essentially at right angles, into which are slipped the ends of a bent rigid rod 7. A tab 9, which is integral with the plate 1, is folded in front of the bent part 8 of the rod 7 and univocally locked on the planar plate 1. The article 13 to be displayed is slipped over the rod 7. Application: display of any fashion or leather article.

Description

ANTI-THEFT DISPLAY
The invention relates to a display system for fashion and leather goods provided with an anti-theft hanging device.

In order to avoid an indelicate customer being able to seize an article placed on a display stand and claim that this object is his personal property when leaving the store, we had the idea of making anti-theft display stands.

Anti-theft systems are known, for example, formed of two U-shaped half-loops whose branches fit in pairs after having been passed through a device provided for this purpose in the object presented. These two half-loops are then deformed so that they can no longer be separated. This system has the disadvantage of requiring many parts, and therefore of requiring a fairly long assembly time. In addition the aesthetics are questionable, which is annoying to present fashion or leather goods.

Anti-theft systems are also known which are formed of a plate which can form a hook and which is provided with an appendage of length determined according to the article which it has to support. The end of this appendage is provided with a hooking device of known type intended to cooperate with a precise opening in the flat plate, for example a cone or a bulge arranged at the end of the uhlcylindre, it is trapped thus the article to be presented by hooking the end of the appendix in the plate. This device is suitable for small objects but is very ill-suited for a bag or wallet, moreover the appendage secured to the plate is generally made of plastic and is long enough to be cut.

To overcome these various drawbacks, we had the idea of producing an anti-theft display unit which could be suitable for important objects and which offers any guarantee of resistance and deterrence.

The anti-theft display unit according to the invention is formed by a plate forming a hook comprising at each of its ends a bore. The axes of these two holes have the particularity of forming an angle, for example 900, one of them possibly being parallel to the plane of the plate and the other perpendicular.

According to another characteristic of the invention, these holes will be located in bosses thus giving them a sufficient length.

According to one. characteristic of the invention, a rod, one end of which is curved so as to form an angle identical to that of the aforementioned bores is inserted therein; the length of this rod will be sufficient to exceed by a sufficient value the drilling parallel to the plane of the plate.

According to a preferred embodiment of the invention, this rod will be metallic in order to have sufficient resistance, particularly to tools of the cutting pliers type.

According to an additional characteristic. of the invention, a foldable tab is provided on the plate opposite the bore perpendicular thereto. This plate is provided with a button or a cone cooperating with an opening located in the plate to produce a unique connection. This system makes it possible to prevent the bent end of the rod from coming out of its bore. The object to be protected is put on this metal rod
The advantages of the anti-theft display unit according to the invention are as follows:
The object to be presented is threaded on a rod which can be metallic therefore robust and possibly resist a cutting tool.

The tab blocking this rod can be very short and is against the plate which makes it impossible to cut it to free the rod.

If one instinctively tries to pull the plate and in the opposite direction on the rod to separate them, the plate of the display stand, generally made of plastic, is flexible and will bend, consequently the rod will slide in its bore and exceed it even more.

The appended drawings given by way of nonlimiting example will make it possible to better understand the characteristics of the invention.

Figure 1 is a top view of the anti-theft display according to the invention.

Figure 2 is a right view of the anti-theft display according to the invention.

Figure 3 is a front view of the anti-theft display secured to an article to be protected.

There is shown in Figure 1 a top view of the anti-theft display according to the invention, it comprises a flat plate (1) forming a hook (2). At one end of the flat plate (1) is a boss (3) having a bore (4) preferably parallel to the plane of the plate (1).

At the other end, the plate (1) has a boss (5) located opposite the boss (3) and comprising a hole (6) with an axis substantially perpendicular to that of the hole (4).

A rigid rod (7) having a bent end (8) is mounted in the holes (4 and 6) so that its end (8) passes through the flat plate (1) through the hole (6).

At the end of the flat plate (1) where the bore (6) is perpendicular thereto, a foldable tab (9) is provided on the side where there is the rigid rod (7), this tab (9) comprises a rod (10) extended by a button (11).

FIG. 2 shows a right view of the anti-theft display unit of FIG. 1.

The flat plate (1) is extended by the tab (9), comprising a rod (10) and a button (11). The rod (7) having its curved part passed through the bore (6) this rod (7) cannot be removed from the bore (6) when the button (11) is unequivocally secured in the hole (12) provided for this effect in the plate (1).

Is shown in Figure 3 the entire anti-theft display carrying an article (13) secured to the rod (7). This passed on the one hand into the bore (4) and on the other hand into the bore (6) substantially perpendicular to the flat plate.

The tab (9) is folded and fixed by the button (11).

1 - Anti-theft display in particular for the presentation of fashion or aroqllinerie articles comprising a plate forming a hook, characterized in that this plate (1) comprises two holes (4 and 6) spaced apart forming an angle in which is mounted a rigid rod (,) angled carrying the article (132, while a means secured to the flat plate (1) is placed in front of the angled part (B) of this rod (7) so as to block it in the bore (6) . 2 - Anti-theft display according to claim 1 characterized in that the holes (4 and 6) form an angle substantially equal to 900. 3 - display according to any one of claims 1 and 2 characterized in that the rod locking means (7) is a tab (9) foldable under the holes 4 - display according to any of claims 1 and 3 characterized in that the foldable tab (9) comprises a rod (10) and a button (11) cooperating with a hole (12) provided in the flat plate (1) above the bore (6), to secure them so unequivocal. 5 - Anti-theft display according to claim 1 characterized in that the rod 173 is metallic. 6 - Anti-theft display according to any one of claims 1, 2 and 4 characterized in that the holes (4), (6) are located in the bosses (3) and (5).
