CONNECTEUR STERILE POUR TUBULURES MEDICALES
La présente invention a pour objet un connecteur stérile destiné en particulier, mais non exclusivement, à raccorder deux tubulures ou conduits de prélèvement ou d'injection lors de traitements médicaux tels que transfusions, perfusions etc..., nécessitant d'une part une poche ou réserve et, d'autre part des moyens de pénétration dans l'organisme tels qu'aiguilles ou cathéters, en évitant la transmission accidentelle de germes pathogènes
On sait que, dans un souci d'asepsie, les appareils et instruments utilisés en médecine ou en chirurgie sont stérilisés avant leur utilisation, par étuvage, par irradiation aux ultraviolets, par exemple, afin de détruire les souches pathogènes susceptibles soit d'aggraver le mal soigné, soit d'introduire de nouvelles contaminations, ces précautions étant d'autant plus nécessaires que, dans les hôpitaux de nombreux malades sont en contact direct. Enfin, les liquides transportés par les tubulures sont injectés ou prélevés directement dans l'organisme de sorte que les mécanismes immunitaires ne jouent pas leur rôle habituel.STERILE CONNECTOR FOR MEDICAL TUBES
