Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a device making it possible to relieve and treat by combination with conventional medical treatment, trotting and galloping racehorses suffering from feet and legs.
These horses are traditionally relieved by the installation of a leather or rubber sole between the hoof and the horse shoe.
This process loses its effectiveness a few days after its implementation, the malleability of the materials used does not provide effective protection of the hoof fork.
The device according to the invention makes it possible to remedy this drawback, on the other hand not only does it relieve the feet and legs of horses, but the ailment can heal more quickly. The device is made of aluminum for its lightness and rubber for its flexibility and comfort.
The assembly provides good protection of the hoof fork.
Detailed description with numbered report on the diagram.
Figure 1 shows the sole seen from the front full (1)
Figure 2 shows the sole in section with composition detail two aluminum plates (2) - (3) a rubber sole (4)
Figure 3 shows the hollow front view of the sole (5)
The device is a sole fitting between the hoof and the shoe of the horse. It is in the form of FIG. 2, two aluminum plates (2) - (3) of 0.5 mm thick each enclosing a sole. rubber (4) 3 mm thick bonded by vulcanization. The sole having a total thickness of 4 millimeters. Its weight according to Figure 1 is 80 grams. In Figure 3 it is halved.
The purpose of the aluminum plates (2) - (3) is to provide resistance to pressure and impact. The rubber (4) keeps real flexibility and absorbs vibrations and shock waves.
The assembly by its rigidity provides effective protection of the hoof fork. Figure 3 which shows the hollow sole (5) having the shape of the horseshoe, is intended for trotters which do not require the protection of the hoof fork. This sole (5) can also be used for gallopers whose action generates a grip on the lawn. This process considerably reduces the repercussion effects on the feet and legs.
The sole has the advantage of being placed without difficulty in association with a horseshoe without having to drill pilot holes beforehand.
Son faible poids est sa première qualité. Its low weight is its first quality.
