Abstract

The invention relates to an assembly with an expandable dowel, serving to assemble or fix or fasten certain objects. The assembly comprises a tube 1 made from a malleable material and a corresponding stem 2, both offering the feature of having facets, smooth internal facets 3 for the tube and facets 4 with cutting edges for the stem, the installation of the assembly being done in the bayonet fashion: introducing the stem into the tube, then rotating the stem on itself. The invention applies to the assembling, fixing or fastening of certain objects such as hat-pegs, boards, shelves, curtains, consoles, accessories for electric, sanitary or other appliances.
