La présente invention est destinée à permettre l'établissement et le contrôle des courbes d'avance sur moteur diesels et à mesurer la vitesse de rotation de ces moteurs, en utilisant des appareils de mesure et de contrôle prévus pour les moteurs à essence.

Le moment d'injection peut être détecté à l'aide d'une pince piézoélectrique (2 fig.2),.à l'aide d'un capteur piézo-électrique intercalé dans le circuit d'injection (2-3 fig.3), ou à l'aide du capteur optique (2-3*fig.4)
L' impulsion est transmise par le cable 1 au boitier contenant l'amplificateur (2fig.l). Le signal amplifié est transmis dans la boucle (3 fig.l)
Le signal est comparable à celui qui traverse le faisceau d'allumage des moteurs à essence, et peut, de ce fait, être capté par la pince à induction (4 fiv.1) reliée aux appareils de mesure prévus pour ces moteurs
Le capteur optique (fig.4), est constitué par une bougie creuse (2) usinée de telle façon qu'elle puisse être vissée à la place de la bougie de préchauffage, étant donc de dimensions forme et filetage identiques à ceux des modèles standard de bougies. Cette bougie est alésée de part en parts et est équipée d'une fenêtre en matière transparente et d'une vis creuse de fixation de cette fenêtre. La partie supèrieure de la bougie permet de fixer une cellule photo-électrique (3).

The signal is comparable to that which passes through the ignition beam of petrol engines, and can therefore be picked up by the induction clamp (4 fiv. 1) connected to the measuring devices intended for these engines.
The optical sensor (fig. 4) consists of a hollow plug (2) machined in such a way that it can be screwed in place of the glow plug, therefore being of identical shape and thread dimensions to those of standard models candles. This candle is bored right through and is equipped with a transparent material window and a hollow screw for fixing this window. The upper part of the candle allows to fix a photocell (3).
