Abstract

The invention relates to equipment for positioning the patient during a surgical operation. The seat 16, carried by the support 9, fits onto fastenings 3 of the operating table and immobilises the pelvis. The indentations in the block 23 allow the complete abdomen to hang down. The indentation in the block 24 holds the head in a natural position. Application: operations on the vertebral column, even on a standard-type table 1.

La présente invention est relative à un dispositif destiné à ameliorer le positionnement du patient sur une table d'opération chirurgicale , notamment pour des operations à pratiquer dans la region lombaire
On sait que , pour la plupart des interventions chirurgicales relatives à la colonne vertebrale , le patient doit être anesthésié dans une position où il se trouve pratiquement à quatre pattes .Pour cela , il existe des tables d'opérations speciales ayant une forme dite " en escalier " . En fait , ces tables spéciales sont très coûteuses et on ne les rencontre que dans un petit nombre d'établissements hospitaliers très spécialises . Par contre , lorsque le chirurgien opere dans un établissement qui n'est pas spéciali- sé uniquement dans ce type d'opérations , il ne dispose que d'une table plane et rigide , dont seule l'inclinaison d'ensemble est réglable .Avant d'anesthésier le patient en position à quatre pattes sur une telle table plane , on est donc amené à le caler , avec des moyens plus ou moins de fortune qui présentent divers inconvénients.The present invention relates to a device intended to improve the positioning of the patient on a surgical operating table, in particular for operations to be performed in the lumbar region.

Le fonctionnement est le suivant :
Pour préparer la table d'opération 2 , on commence par incliner son plateau 1 jusqu'à l'orientation illustree sur les figures 5 et 6 . On pose alors la semelle 11 , 13 , du chevalet 9 , sur la partie inférieure de la table , les broches 4 étant engagees et serrées dans les mé canismes à serrage rapide 3 .On met en place la tablette 20, dont les broches 19 sont engagées dans la partie supérieure des montants 10
Sur la partie supérieure du plateau 1 , on place successivement le premier bloc 23 , puis le second bloc 24
On installe alors le patient 27 , dans la position à quatre pattes illustrée sur la figure 6 . Pour cela , lé siege 16 etant placé sous ses fesses , on met en place les coussins 21 et 22 , pour caler le patient entre les deux ailes laterales 18
