Abstract

The invention relates to a boathook. The boathook 1 according to the invention comprises a monobloc endpiece 2 which comprises a point 4 and a crook 5, and it also comprises a means serving as a hook 6 mounted on said endpiece 2 and from where it can be released at will, said releasable hook 6 comprising a ring 7 connected at one end which makes it possible to recover it when it has been released. The invention applies in particular to boathooks.

Description

 The invention relates to a hook provided with a tip comprising a means acting as a hook, said hook being able to be detached from said tip.

 Currently to maneuver on a boat for example at docking, there are hooks which are composed of a pole provided at its end with a point and a hook. The point allows you to unwind and the hook to catch a tip, a chest, etc. The main drawback is that once the buoy is hooked by the hook of the hook, you have to raise the buoy, then grab it by hand and pass a tip through one of the rings, while removing the gaff, which at this time should not be lost and is rather annoying. This is why it often falls into the water.

 The gaff according to the invention tends to solve these problems. It makes it easy to use the boat hook by combining other functions which make it easier to maneuver a boat.

 The hook according to the invention comprises a monobloc endpiece, which comprises a point and a hook, moreover it comprises a means acting as a hook mounted on said endpiece, and from which it can be released at will, said releasable hook comprises ring connected to a tip which allows to recover it when it is dropped.

 The hook acting means is a carabiner.

 Said carabiner has at its base a ring to be connected to said end, and a rail which is housed in a slide formed in said end piece.

 The attached drawings given by way of indicative and non-limiting example, will easily make it possible to understand the invention, they represent a preferred embodiment according to the invention.

 Figure 1 is a side view of the gaff according to the invention.

 Figure 3 is a side view of the hook according to the invention in which the carabiner is detached from the end piece.

 The hook 1 is composed of a nozzle 2 fixed to the end of a pole 3.

 This tip 2 has a tip 4 and a hook 5, it can be manufactured in one piece. Said end piece 2 of the hook 1 may include a means acting as a hook 6. Said means acting as a hook may be a carabiner 6. Said hook is releasable, it can thus be detached from the end piece 2 of the pole 3 It has a ring 7 which keeps the carabiner 6 hooked at one end.

 At the base of the means acting as a hook or carabiner 6, is arranged a hooking means, acting as a rail 8, which is housed in a slide 9, which serves as a housing for holding the carabiner 6 of said tip 2 and goof 1.

Goof 1 is used as follows
The user holds the hook 1 by his pole 2 and grabs a chest or an end by the carabiner 6. By suddenly pulling on the pole 2, the carabiner 6 comes out of its slide 9 by the rail 8; it is therefore dropped from the end piece 2. The user can place and store the hook 1, the trunk is held by the carabiner 6, retained by the end which is hooked to its ring 7. It is possible to moor said end with the desired tension.

By connecting to the tip 2 of the hook 1 another carabiner 6, it can be used again to grab another end or another chest. Once the boat in place, by stretching the ropes, it is possible to recover the carabiners 6, replacing the ends or lines with bumps or moorings.

 Of course, although the end piece 2 shown in the drawings has only one releasable carabiner 6, it could include several, each releasable carabiner having its own slide 9.

 The hook according to the invention makes it possible to quickly moor an end on a chest or a ring.
