Abstract

The present appliance, a simplified variant of the apparatus described in the invention no. 8208921, also has the objective of protecting motor vehicles from theft by blocking their pedals in the depressed position and their steering wheel (preferably in the full lock position). This appliance joining pedals and steering wheel consists of two interlockable parts 7 and 8 and of a small component sliding in the part 8. The foot of the element 7 fits snugly over the pedals and the top of the element 8 fits round the rim of the steering wheel. The sliding component 3' then, in the top position, traps the rim of the steering wheel, then it is locked by a padlock placed in one or other of its holes. The padlock is protected by the plates which surround it, and the shaft is internally reinforced by a sheathed steel cable.

Il comprend deux parties constituant un arbre destiné à relier les pédales et le volant de direction.
