Abstract

The present invention relates to a support for potted plants. This support is provided with at least one and preferably at least three spreading transverse parts 6, 7. These parts 6, 7 lie in a pseudo-conical surface whose apex is at a point 5 of the support and are rigidly fixed to said support on said surface in such a way that these transverse parts form spacers between the pot 4, or alternatively the earth 3 contained therein, and the support 1. The invention prevents the support from falling over under the thrust exerted by the plants which it supports.

In the drawings, the reference l designates the stake which is driven by its point 2 into the earth 3 filling the pot 4.

In the embodiment of Figure 1, a sleeve 5 slides frictionally on the rod 1 of the stake and it has four radial arms 6. The spider thus formed can be lowered in contact with the surface of the earth of the pot to s' oppose the tilting of the tutor, the tilting can only take place by driving at least one arm 6 into the earth of the pot.

In the embodiment of FIG. 2, the sleeve 5 carries two telescopic arms 7, the length of which can be adjusted by driving a dowel 8 into one of the holes 9 of one of the elements coincident with a hole in 11 other element of the arm. The arm ends with a hook or clamp 10 as shown or any other shape capable of hooking the edge ll of the pot to fix the distance from the stake 1 to the edge of the pot, which prevents it from tilting or tilting .

Claims  the. ut stake for potted plants, characterized in that it is provided with at least one and preferably at least three divergent crosspieces 6-7 situated in a pseudo-conical surface having its apex at a point 5 of the stake and rigidly secured with said tutor according to said surface so that these crosspieces form spacers between the pot 4, respectively the earth 3 which it contains, and the tutor 1 to prevent the tilting of said tutor. 2. A stake according to claim 1, characterized in that the spacers 6 are arranged in a star, in a plane or along a conical surface, from a sleeve 5 sliding with friction on the stake 1. 3. A tutor according to claim 1, characterized in that the spacers 7 have at their end opposite to the sleeve 5 a means 10 for hooking on the edge of the pot. 4. A tutor according to claim 3, characterized in that the spacers 7 are of adjustable length.
