Abstract

The invention relates to a device which makes it possible to preserve for several hours without deterioration or proliferation a bacterial sample and to transport it to the laboratory in an aseptic manner. It consists of a brush d inserted into a cap a, which are placed and steadied by a ring b in a tube c having at its end a hollow cap f closed off by a cover e containing a medium g for preserving microorganisms. When the ring b is removed, the brush d simply has to be replaced in the tube c, the sampling having been carried out, for the microorganisms to come into contact with the preserving medium g.
