Abstract

The invention relates to equipment serving to make fruit juice, and in particular grape juice. It comprises a perforated plate 15 covered with a sieve 16 on which the fruit is placed, and two cylinders, the first 1 of which is fitted with claws 2 and intended to shred the fruit and the second 7 of which follows the presses by rolling on the shredded fruit. The pressure of the cylinder 7 is achieved, using the frame 9, by a lever system 11 and the springs 12. The fruit juice flows through the sieve 16 and the holes of the perforated plate 15 to a collector 17, and emerges through the spout 18. The to-and-fro movement of the two cylinders assembled by the frame 9 may be provided manually or by an electric motor.
