Abstract

The invention relates to equipment serving to make fruit juice, and in particular grape juice. It comprises a perforated plate 15 covered with a sieve 16 on which the fruit is placed, and two cylinders, the first 1 of which is fitted with claws 2 and intended to shred the fruit and the second 7 of which follows the presses by rolling on the shredded fruit. The pressure of the cylinder 7 is achieved, using the frame 9, by a lever system 11 and the springs 12. The fruit juice flows through the sieve 16 and the holes of the perforated plate 15 to a collector 17, and emerges through the spout 18. The to-and-fro movement of the two cylinders assembled by the frame 9 may be provided manually or by an electric motor. Among the possible applications of interest may be mentioned the professional fruit press for all drinking establishments and the household fruit press.

Description

 The present invention relates to apparatuses of the fruit press and press type, making it possible to extract the juice contained in the fruit, particularly in the grape, and in variable quantity, according to demand, both in large quantity and glass by glass.

In known devices of this kind, the fresh grapes are crushed and pressed either manually or mechanically, in large quantities. The juice is stored in a refrigerated tank to be kept for several days and is served with the help of a pitcher until the stock runs out. This device has several disadvantages

 The double roller juicer according to the invention avoids these drawbacks. With this Hci, it is indeed possible to instantly make a choice of quality and on demand, a glass and at will a fresh fruit juice with all its quality of taste and freshness. To do this, it has two cylinder rollers assembled and kept at a fixed distance from each other by a frame. The whole rolls on a perforated plate itself covered by unc: sieve on which are arranged the bunches or the bunch of grapes.

 The first cylinder (or roller) fitted with claws and rolling a few millimeters above the plate is made to tear and grind the grapes; the second cylinder which follows the first, pressing strongly on the plate, is intended to press the mixture. The juice thus obtained passes through the filter screen and through the holes in the plate, and it is collected by the collector placed below.

 The three figures in the drawing represent the plan view of the device (fig.l), the cross-section in length (fig.2), and the cross-section in width (fig.3).

 As shown, the device comprises the first cylinder (1) with its claws (2), provided at its two ends with toothed wheels (3); these wheels (3) rest on the toothed rails (4) which hold the cylinder (1) at a distance of a few millimeters in height above the plate (15).

 The second cylinder (7) which is strongly supported on the plate (15) thanks to the springs (12) and the levers (11), presses the torn and crushed grapes by the first cylinder (1). The juice flows through the filter screen (16) and the holes in the perforated plate (15) on the collector (17), fitted with a pourer (18).

 The back and forth movement of the chassis (9) which brings together the two cylinders (1,7), can be ensured manually, or by electric motor.

 The device can be used wherever you need fruit juice, particularly grape juice, for consumption as you go, in all drinking establishments, bars, restaurants, tea rooms, uvale stations etc. and, at the family level.
