Abstract

The invention relates to a component of a medical suction system permitting collection of secretions in a jar for once-only use. This jar comprises two nozzles, one ensuring connection to the suction device, the other allowing delivery of the secretions. A novel part avoids migration of the liquids on the upper internal part of the jar. By its design, this jar is to be used once only.

Description

 The present embodiment relates to sets of medical aspirations, by allowing the user to be given a container for collecting physiological secretions for single use.

 The present system of original shape is produced in a single piece by blowing. On this piece in external presentation we can distinguish two slightly conical tips which allow for one, the connection to the suction source and therefore to create in this enclosure a depression, for the other, the introduction of secretions.

 It is not uncommon at present to see prescribing, in medical services different types of aspiration (bronchial, gastric ...). Until now all the systems proposed for the collection of liquids were of complex or unreliable design (glass jars: risk of breakage; macrolon or plastic jars: fragile tips, non-tight vessel lid connection ...).

 The present embodiment made from static polypropylene or similar component makes it possible to improve the impact resistance, to reduce the total mass of the jar as well as its production cost and to design its use for single use.

 The description of some figures makes it possible to visualize this part and to show all the advantages linked to its simplicity.

 Figure 1 shows in a general view the part which can be directly connected to the vacuum cleaner and the patient. We note the presence of two symmetrical tips 1 and 2 permuting the connection to the vacuum cleaner and the arrival of secretions. The part 3 detailed in FIG. 4 makes it possible to interrupt the migration of the liquids on the upper interior part of the jar. On the front side, a mark allows precise measurement of the volume of liquid contained, the jar being transparent.

 Figure 2 shows the original shape of this jar allowing the embedding of several pieces thus reducing the space occupied by the storage of these.

 Figure 3 shows the shape of the bottom of the jar, giving the system a stable base. The upward flaring allows the introduction of the jar and maintains it in a corrugated support fixed at different anchoring points (bed, wall, medical rail ...).

 Figure 4 shows in section the shape of the tips which can thus receive pipes of different diameters. This figure also shows the shape of the anti-migration bar'iber which in its absence would allow the liquid to migrate towards the nozzle connected to the vacuum cleaner and thus pollute the network.
