Abstract

Karabiner-hook of the type comprising a closure member with a spring return, characterised in that it is provided with a means for locking the said closure member 12 which is produced in the form of an open ring 16 whose two ends 18, 18' are articulated in the body 10 of the karabiner, opposite the closure member, the articulation points of the ends of the ring being offset so that the said ring constitutes a spring which is stressed so as to be applied against the closure member, thereby locking the latter.

On sait que les harnais de sécurité comportent un mousqueton, généralement en acier inoxydable, pour assurer la fixation de la ligne du harnais sur un organe fixe du bateau, généralement une "ligne de vie".
