Abstract

The support is a bracket (1) made from sheet material which is bent into an angle shape, with a pair of holes (5) at the end of each flange (2). It can then be secured either to the left hand or right hand side of a vertical member (6) by two bolts to form a cantilevered support, the horizontal flange carrying the cables and their clips (12). The flat blank used to make the angle is trapezium shaped, so that after bending, the flanges are layered. The corners at the narrow end (14) are rounded, and each flange can carry a smaller return flange (13) for extra rigidity. Slots (11) each side of the bend line (X) are used for devices such as screws for securing the cable clips.
