Abstract

The improvements of the addition relate to sticks which are called cotton-rods of the type described in the main patent. According to the addition, a shield 11 is provided which fixes onto the rod 1 at a determined distance d from its end 1a, so as to avoid any untimely penetration of the cotton-rod beyond a permitted safety distance. The invention is applied very particularly to cotton-rods intended for the cleaning of children's ears.

Le présent certificat d'addition concerne des perfec-tionnements à la fabrication des articles d'hygiène facilitant le nettoyage des oreilles dénommés couramment "cotons-tiges" décrit à la demande de brevet principal déposé le I2 Mars I982 sous le numéro EN 82/04167.
