Abstract

The head-rest flap for a back seat of a vehicle is fixed to a support on the back of the seat. The head-rest has a main part in which is an axle which joins onto the support, by locks on the support and head-rest. The head-rest (3) can tilt over the back when the seat is pushed forward. The locking and release consists of an inertia roll moving along a sloping ramp backwards to the support. The middle of the roll forms the retaining-bolt of a hook forming part of the head-rest.
