Abstract

The gauge is used for measuring the dia. of smooth, threaded or tapped tubes. It has a thin rigid sheet (1) of transparent synthetic material from which project shaped elements in the form of ring-gauges and plug-gauges. The sheet is fixed onto a cardboard plate which has printed sizes on it, divided into three coloured fields corresponding to the respective dimensions of the ring-gauges and plug-gauges. To determine the dia. of tapped tubes they must be slipped onto the ring-gauges in the first field until an appropriate gauge is found, its size being marked beside it on the cardboard plate. The interior dia. of smooth tubes is found in a similar manner. The exterior dia. of threaded tubes is determined by inserting them into the ring-gauges in the second field until the appropriate gauge is found. The third field is used in the same way.

La présente invention concerne un calibre pour la.me- sure du diamètre d'éléments tubulaires lisses, filetés ou taraudés
Lors de la mise en place de tuyauteries, par exemple dans les installations sanitaires, on doit souvent raccorder des éléments de tubes ou de raccords filetés ou taraudés, de diamètre intérieur ou extérieur déterminé, à des éléments concordants, déjà installés la présente invention a pour objet de faciliter et d'accélérer le choix de l'élément adéquat, accompli jusqu' ce jour par tatonnements ou au moyen d'un pied à coulisse .On a également fait usage, jusqu'ici, de languettes de mesure ou de pièces découpées dans du carton mais ces instruments taient imprcis et devenaient en outre rapidement inutilisables
Par contre, le calibre de mesure du diamètre d'élélz!ents tubulaires li-ses, filetés ou taraudés selon la pré- sente invention est caractérisé par des parties pro filées réalisées sur une face d'une plaque, en particulier une feuille mince en matière appropriée, venant épouser, en cas de concordance d1ajustement, la paroi interne ou externe d'un élément tubulaire lisse, fileté ou taraudé, posé sur ladite plaque .Ces parties profilées auront la forme, soit de bagues saillantes, soit de tampons saillants . les extrémités, lisses ou filetées, de ces éléments tubulaires seront insérées dans les bagues pour en déterminer le diamètre approprié, ou emmanchés sur les tampons ou sur les bagues pour déterminer le diamètre intérieur de l'élément tubulaire
Selon une autre idée de l'invention, la plaque est faite de rrati8re synthétique transparente et est fi xée sur une feuille de carton portant des cotes impriées .En outre, cette feuille de carton est sub divisée en plusieurs parties colorées portant des cotes apparentées pour différencier les indications concernant les éléments taraudés, les éléments filetes et les diamètres intérieurs
L'invention est dcrite ci-après en détail en se ré gérant a un exemple préféré, non limitatif, de réalisation représenté sur les dessins annexés dans les quels - la figure 1 est une vue perspective d'un calibre
de mesure selon l'invention ; et - les figures 2, 3 et 4 sont trois vues perspeoives
de trois cas d'application du calibre de la figure 1
La plaque représentée à la figure 1 est.faite d'une feuille mince rigide 1 en matière synthétique transparente d'où font saillie les éléments profilés en forme de bagues 2 ou de tampons 3 . Cette feuille transparente en matière oynthétique 1, avec ses éléments profilés saillants (bagues 2 et tampons 3), est fixée sur une plaque de carton 4 portant des cotes imprimées, réparties sur trois champs colorés I, II et III de façon à correEpondre aux dimensions respectives des bagues 2 ou des tampons 3 .Pour de terminer les taraudages, les éléments taraudés 5 (figure 2) seront emmanchés, par exemple, sur les bagues 2 du champ rouge I, de uche, et l'on pourra ainsi dé+erminer la bague appropriée 2 dont la cote est marquée, à côté d'e?le, sur la plaque de carton 4
On procédera de même pour déterminer le diametre intérieur de tubes lisses, comme le tube 6 de la figure 3 . Pour déterminer le diametre entérieur des filetages, les éléments filetés 7 (figure 4) sueront, par exemple, insérés dans les bagues 2 du champ bleu II, de droite, pour trouver la bague appropriée 2 à côté de laquelle la cote correspondante est imprimée sur la plaque de carton 4 . Enfin la plaque présente encore un champ jaune III, situé à sa partie inférieure, dont la partie recouvrante de la feuille transparente 1 porte des tampons 3 et des bague 2 permettant de déterminer les diamètres. d'éléments taraudés ou filetés, par exemple pour diffuseurs d'air ou buses melan- geuses, en les coiffant de ces éléments de la méme manière que dans les cas précédents
Enfin, la plaque de carton 4 pourra porter un mode d'emploi sur sa face arrière

The plate shown in FIG. 1 is made of a rigid thin sheet 1 of transparent synthetic material from which project the profiled elements in the form of rings 2 or pads 3.
