Abstract

The modification is applied to the conventional rotary blade (5,6) motorised (2) lawn mower, using an appropriate cutter (7) to reduce the size of garden waste introduced through an opening (8,9) in the housing (1). The cutter may comprise a blade or alternatively, several blades mounted on a disc. The disc is placed aboVe the main cutter of the lawnmower. A feed chute is fixed to the opening in the housing, with a flared end to aid introduction of the waste for chopping.
