Abstract

The agricultural tractor attachment is used to handle cylindrical bales of hay adapting to fit a front loader or a lift truck. It has a transportable rotary tine plate comprised of a spiked (13) plate (11) with a central shaft (10). Drive is provided by an hydraulic motor powered by the tractor via an elastic coupling, a transmission, or a reduction gear train. The spikes may be welded to the plate which may be mounted on a frame comprised of a tubular beam (1) with three integral posts. Jacks may be attached to forks incorporated on the posts, to tilt the plate to offset the inclination of the tractor. The plate mounting may transmit rotation whilst accommodating the tilting movements.
