Abstract
The invention relates to a single-phase stepping motor whose stator has a core (2) with a winding (1), and a metal sheet (3) with an opening (4) in which a rotor (7) with a permanent magnetic is arranged. The metal sheet (3) has a transverse slot (9) in the region adjacent to the opening (4), whose width is determined by a necessary magnetic asymmetry of the stator poles, in the same way as the shape of the axis line (10) of the slot (9), which asymmetry is sufficient to generate a predetermined starting and stopping torque of the motor. The invention can be used in time measuring apparatuses and in automatic systems.
