Abstract

The sheet metal panel is used in commercial and industrial vehicles and each panel module has one edge preformed into a double angle (1,2) and the other edge into a trough (3-5). The panels interlock by introducing the double angled edge of one panel into the trough of the adjacent panel so that the surfaces (1,3 and 2,4) are in contact. A permanent joint is achieved by welding or riveting two surfaces (2,4) or by adhesives.
