Abstract

A refrigerated counter is disclosed for the display and sale of chilled foods, comprising a compartment (17) housing the components of a refrigerating circuit, such as a compressor, a filter, a condenser, a fan, etc. The aforesaid compartment (17) is accessible from the outside by removing a panel. It extends along the front side of the refrigerated counter, on the opposite side from the sales staff. In this way more space is provided inside the counter for storing chilled foods not on display, while the refrigerating means are more easily accessible for maintenance.
