Abstract

The rear-view mirror casing (5), has a convex face. It is attached to a support (3), having a concave face, on the vehicle bodywork using an arm (8), one end (9) of which is secured inside the casing and the other end (11) of which is pivotally secured to a spring-biassed mounting (12) passing through an opening in the casing from the support. The mounting carries at least two support surfaces (12a,12b) on opposite faces which engage into recesses on the sides of the opening in the casing during installation. Onceinstalled, a rib (6) on the casing locates into a recess (7) in the support.
