Abstract

The saucepan (A) has a flange extending downwards under the base. This forms an opening in which the heat of the gas burner (B) accumulates and to use less fuel. The height of the opening varies according to the shape of the utensil, its size and its metallic composition. The opening can have a shorter outer wall round its wall to retain residual heat. The base of the utensil can vary in shape and can be flat, curved or stepped.

Description

Currently, the containers used to make the kitchens, pots, pots and eto. all have a shape which favors, in the case of gas heating, the loss of calories.

Part of the heat produced by the gas burners slides against the bottom and the vertical walls of the containers, eventually being lost in the ambient air. This well-known phenomenon is illustrated in Figure I of Plate N i annexed to this description.

In this Figure i representing the classic situation of an oas weeding A heated by a gas burner 3, we note the sliding towards the outside of the heat symbolized by the small arrows C.

The invention consists in remedying this disadvantage by providing kitchen utensils with a device which is a constraint and a brake on the upward sliding of the calories produced by gas burners.

This involves extending the vertical wall of pots, stock pots, etc. of a certain length in order to constitute, under the bottom of each container, a recess open downwards. This recess provides a cabin and the heat produced and constrains it which always tends to rise, to accumulate against the bottom of the container thus promoting the cooking of food.

La démonstration schématique de oette invention est illustrée par la Figure 2 de la Planche N I. The schematic demonstration of this invention is illustrated in Figure 2 of Plate N I.

In Figure 2 of Plate NI representing a pan A shaped according to the data of the invention and heated by a gas burner B, we note the heat symbolized by the small arrows C, held captive in the added cabin in the cooking utensil.

The height of the recess, consisting of the extension of the vertical walls, will vary with each container and will depend on its shape, its heating surface, its metallic composition, etc.

The greater this height, the greater the habitaole offered for heat, but the further the bottom of the container is moved away from the heat source. This height varies from about 1 to 4 centimeters for common utensils of an average family of 4 people.

The recess can be formed by the extension of the walls of the kitchen utensil without cala being an absolute rule. Based on the principle, object of the invention, that a heat recovery compartment must be arranged under the kitchen containers, these can be shaped according to very diverse shapes as shown in the figures of Plate N 2 annexed to this descriptive.

La Figure 3 de la Planche N 2 montre un ustensile de cuisine dont le fond a été modelé suivant les données de l'invention en un habitacle B et un deuxième habitacle b situé sur la périphérie de l'ustensile et destiné à récupérer les calories que n'aurait pu retenir l'habitacle B.Figure 3 of Plate N 2 shows a kitchen utensil, the bottom of which was modeled according to the data of the invention in a cabin B and a second cabin b located on the periphery of the utensil and intended to recover the calories that could not have retained cockpit B.

Les figures 4 et 5 représentent deux variantes possibles d'us- tensiles de cuisine traités suivant les données de l'invention et montrées ici afin d'évaluer le vaste champ des possibilité offertes.FIGS. 4 and 5 represent two possible variants of kitchen utensils treated according to the data of the invention and shown here in order to assess the vast field of possibilities offered.

This invention applies to the majority of kitchen utensils intended for cooking food by gas heating.

It is a source of very substantial energy savings.
