Abstract

The vessel is equipped with a heating system to warm the liq. manure. The heating system comprises an external source of heated fluid which is circulated through an external heat transfer jacket on the vessel. Pref. the jacket encircles a zone in the lower half of the vessel pref. the exterior of the jacket is encased in a thicker layer of thermal insulation than the remainder of the exterior surface of the vessel. The vessel is used for digesting liq. manure to produce methane gas etc. as it converts the waste into liq. fertiliser. The liq. manure is heated to about 37 deg.C to assist fermentation. The heat transfer jacket offers efficient heating from a high area of heat exchange surface. The heating system is entirely outside the vessel space so that no projections can obstruct rotary agitators.

- une bride 5, qui est solidaire du fond supérieur 3 et permet le raccordement d'un conduit d'évacuation du gaz dégagé par le lisier,
- une virole 6, qui est de forme générale cylindrique, et est fixée sur la face externe 7 de la partie inférieure de la paroi 2 par soudure (8) de ses bords supérieur et inférieur 9, qui sont légèrement décalés par rapport au corps de cette virole, de manière qu'une double paroi soit réalisée en coopération avec la paroi 2 et délimite une enceinte 10 étanche tout autour de la partie inférieure de cette paroi 2,
- une chaudière 11, extérieure à la cuve 1,
- deux conduits de circulation du fluide caloriporteur (généralement de l'eau) entre la chaudière 11 et enceinte 10 le conduit 12 d'admission d'eau chaude dans l'enceinte 10 et le conduit 13 de retour de l'eau a la chaudière après son refroidissement par échange de chaleur avec le lisier,
- un revêtement isolant thermique 14 d'une épaisseur E14 sur la totalité de la face externe de la cuve (paroi 2, fond supérieur 3, fond inférieur 4), sauf sur la partie recouverte par la virole 6,
- un revete#.ent isolant thermique 15 d'une épaisseur
E15 sur la virole 6 et sur les conduits 12 et 13.
