Abstract

Description

The present invention relates to a method for producing printed matter,

A process for the production of printed matter, in which the printing is carried out on absorbent paper by means of a printing ink drying by penetration of its   components, characterized in that after the printing   a clear, liquid solvent containing a binder is applied to the absorbent paper to   the pigments of the printing ink.   2. Method according to claim 1, characterized in   said binder is a synthetic resin.   3. Method according to claim 2, characterized in   said binder is an alkyd resin.   4. Method according to any one of the claims   1 to 3, characterized in that a solvent and a binder are used which are identical to those contained in the printing ink   used during the previous print.   5. Method according to claim 1, characterized in that the application of the solvent containing the binder takes place   in the printing machine by means of a device   which is mounted downstream of the printing unit.
