Abstract

The sail board mast (2) is covered with a sleeve (3) made from thermo-plastic material and covering a distance over the length of the mast to allow fixing the wishbone in several positions. The wishbone (4) has an end bracket (5) attached to the mast by a cord. The sleeve may also be made of rubber and has a wall thickness of 1 to 4mm and a length of between 55 and 65mm located 100 to 120mm from the foot of the mast. The sleeve prevents the wishbone sides rubbing against the mast and marking it.
