Abstract

The moulded concrete roofing tiles have hooks projecting from the lower face which attach onto an ordinary roofing frame. The tiles can be made in a colour appropriate to the site for which they are intended and are cast in units 0.5, 0.3 or 0.2m wide and 0.44m long. The tiles have a portion with an irregular surface which is exposed in the completed roof. The tiles are useful in renewing old stone roofs of listed buildings without altering the external appearance.
