Abstract

Pot filter, for filtration of hydraulic fluids etc. The filter element is of a conventional type, and is located in a can, which is screwed onto a top support. In the top of the can is a profiled plate, which has a peripheral ring groove, and then a conical zone contg. holes, through which liq. to be filtered enters the can. The filtered liq. then travels upwards through an axial hole in the profiled plate. In the peripheral groove in the profiled plate is an axial sealing ring below a radial sealing ring. When the can is screwed onto the top support, the two sealing rings are squeezed against an axial- and a radial- thrust surface on the support. The possibility of leakage is therefore extremely unlikely.
