Abstract

The flow regulator consists of an outlet (3) connected to the water trough. A cover nut (2) is screwed onto this plug. A double- ended reversible plug (6) is screwed into the outlet section. The plug has two notches (7,8) one at either end so that a connection is obtained between the inlet and outlet of the regulator, via the notch. The notches are sized to suit the flow required and are of smaller cross sectional area than that of the outlet orifice (4a). Two flows can be obtained by reversing the plug (6).
