Abstract

L'invention est relative à un capteur de densité de fluide du genre utilisant un tube rempli de fluide dans lequel des vibrations transversales naturelles sont entretenues à une fréquence représentative de la densité du fluide. Suivant l'invention, le tube 16 présente une légère ellipticité pour compenser la variation de fréquence due à une variation de pression du fluide, par exemple une augmentation de pression tendant à rendre le tube plus circulaire et à augmenter la fréquence, alors que l'augmentation de la contrainte circonférencielle provoque une diminution de la rigidité transversale du tube, et par suite de la fréquence. Le tube est supporté par des éléments 2, 8, 10, 12 et des moyens électriques 30, 32, 34 entretiennent sa vibration. Application à la mesure de la densité de fluide de pression variable.
